Thursday might’ve been the most laid-back, but most fulfilling day of convention. We started the day off by having our first group session of the trip. We talked about the frustrations we had with the worship service the night before. Many were disappointed about how it went from a very serious note to everybody jumping up and down to Christian Rock. Instead of leaving us to ponder the main service they got everyone all hyped and they forgot the message that was trying to be sent. After that, we went to our service project. We helped the Rosedale Neighborhood Association cut honeysuckle so the path would be clear as well as helped build a map-post. We all felt satisfied with the work that had been done. We then went back, took the quickest showers of all-time and then got on the bus to go to the Kansas City Royals baseball game. The game was quite boring but we all had a good time. The Twins won 2-0. We all went back to the hotel and got some rest.
