Morning Prayers
(leader reads light print, all read bold)
✙ Praise ✙
Lord, we bring you our praise.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.
One thing I have asked of the Lord,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life;
to behold the beauty of the Lord
and to seek Him in His temple.
Amen. Lord have mercy.
silence . . .
✙ Listen ✙
Lord, we listen to your voice.
You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart, and with all your soul,
and with all your strength, and with all your mind;
and your neighbor as yourself.
Open our heart, soul, and mind to your Word.
To whom shall we go?
You have the words of eternal life.
a Psalm reading and a Gospel reading...
[schedule of readings]
after the readings:

Thanks be to God.

Canticle
Christ, as a light illumine and guide me.
Christ under me; Christ over me;
Christ beside me on my left and my right.
This day be within and without me,
lowly and meek, yet all-powerful.
Be in the heart of each to whom I speak;
in the mouth of each who speaks unto me.
Christ under me; Christ over me;
Christ beside me on my left and my right.
Intercessions
We pray for the world and all nations.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil,
for thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory forever. Amen.
Blessing
May the Lord bless us and keep us.
May the face of God shine on us and be gracious to us.
May God’s presence embrace us and give us peace.
Amen.
