Worship at Park View Mennonite Church
We gather each Sunday morning in worship to praise God's greatness, to seek God's life-giving presence, and to experience Christian fellowship. Singing is an important part of our worship. We enjoy many styles of music, including congregational singing, and coral and instrumental ensembles. Our services also include scripture readings, prayers, and children's stories, silence, and and sermon that applies Biblical truths to daily life. Services held weekly: Sunday worship 9:30 a.m. Fellowship time 10:45 a.m. Sunday school 11:00 a.m. (see a description of our Sunday School classes) All are welcome. We provide nursery care for children age 3 and under during the service, and for ages 2 and under during the Sunday school hour. Inclusion of children and youth in church life is a priority at Park View. High School Mennonite Youth Fellowship (MYF) meets four times a month for Bible study and social activities. There is also a Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF) for youth in grades 6-8. Study and Worship With Us Throughout the Week
In addition to our Sunday morning service we also invite the larger community to an ecumenical Taizé worship service held the first Wednesday of the month from 8:30 - 9:30 p.m. and weekly during Lent. We also hold frequent fellowship meals throughout the year, the schedule for these can be found on the church calendar or by calling the church office. |
