In November 2003, Park View had a grand celebration of the 50th anniversary of its official beginning as the Eastern Mennonite University campus church in 1953. The celebration included the release of a beautifully written and illustrated history book by long-time member Harold Lehman, titled Through These Doors: A Journal of Faithfulness (still available for purchase or borrowing from the church library). The celebration also included a month of sermons from past ministers, a year-long series of articles in our newsletter, inView, and special weekend of events, including a worship service, dinner, and concert.

Below are two documents that give a greater window into Park View's history, and this celebration. The first document is a special 50th-anniversary edition of the inView (it's a large document, give it time to load), and the second is a 4-page spread reporting on the weekend celebration, including a picture feature on the book.
