Warren Bock was selected as lead custodian early in 2010. Before retirement from the federal government he completed 31 years of service, the last 26 years as a budget analyst with The National Institutes of Health in Bethesda MD. He is married to Mary Emma Blough Bock who now lives in Oak Lea. They have two children, Susan who lives in Massachusetts and Alan who lives in Maryland.
Judy Bomberger, music director
Judy Bomberger has been music director since 1998, scheduling musicians and song leaders, and directing many children's musicals. Judy holds a Bachelor of Arts in music education from Eastern Mennonite University. In addition to her work at PVMC, she teaches music at Hunter McGuire Lower School of Stuart Hall. She is married to Don Bomberger, a project manager at Jenzabar. They have one married daugher and a grandson.
Don Burkhart, custodian
Don has been on the custodial staff since 2011. He has spent half of his life growing cut flowers in Lancaster, PA. He married his wife, Carol Gaeddert, in 1955. He and Carole currently reside in Park Place at Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community.
Jane Eanes, office administrator
Jane began as office administrator in January, 2012. She moved to the Harrisonburg area from Scottdale, Pennsylvania in June of 2011, along with several families associated with the Mennonite Publishing Network (now MennoMedia). Jane holds a Bachelors Degree in secondary education from the University of Maryland. She is married to Russ Eanes, executive director of MennoMedia, and they are parents of 4 sons (2 married), 2 daughters, and 1 grandson.
Ross Erb, associate pastor for children, youth, and families
Ross Erb is associate pastor for children, youth and families. He came to the congregation in 2003 from Canada where he served as a social worker for eight years with the Family and Children's Services in Cambridge, Ontario. He holds a Master of Social Work. Married to Cathy Smeltzer Erb, professor of teacher education at Eastern Mennonite University, the couple has three children.

John Fast has been organist at Park View Mennonite Church since 1996. In addition he has been on the custodial staff for a number of years. He has a Master of Music degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, and has taught in the music department at Eastern Mennonite University since 1975. Prior to becoming the regular organist at Park View he served as organist for a number of Shenandoah Valley churches. During his years in Harrisonburg he has been an accompanist for several local choral organizations. Married to Barbara Fast, a professor in the art department at EMU, the couple have two married children and three grandchildren.
Joanne Gallardo, office assistant
Joanne Gallardo began as office assistant in April, 2012. Joanne is also currently Associate Campus Pastor at EMU, a position she began in August, 2010. Before coming to EMU, she graduated from Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree in May of 2010. Before AMBS, Joanne worked as a substitute teacher as well as a mental health worker for Oaklawn, a Mennonite-run psychiatric hospital. She graduated from Goshen College in 2006 with a degree in Music and Bible/Religion/Philosophy. Joanne is a native of Wauseon, Ohio.
Roy Heatwole, custodian
Roy Heatwole has been on the custodial staff since 2004. He held a similar position at Belk for a short while. He has taught Mathematics and Statistics at EMU and JMU. Between the teaching stints, he worked 31 years as a Mathematical Statistician for the U. S. Department of Agriculture and the National Center for Health Statistics. He is married to Donna Merillat, the couple has two children and two grandchildren.
Phil Kniss, lead pastor
Phil Kniss has served as lead pastor at Park View Mennonite since 1996. This is his third pastorate, following Community Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg (1991-1996), and Emmanuel Mennonite Church in Gainesville, FL (1983-1990), where he was founding pastor. He holds a Master of Divinity from Eastern Mennonite Seminary in Harrisonburg and a Doctor of Ministry from Northern Seminary in Lombard, IL. Married to Irene Hershberger, a legal nurse consultant, the couple has three daughters and a son-in-law. Hobbies include home coffee-roasting and photography.

Karen Moshier-Shenk rejoined the Park View Mennonite Church staff as Adult Choir Director in 2007. Karen holds a Master of Music degree from Duquesne Univerisity, Pittsburgh, PA. In addition to her work at PVMC, she is an Associate Director of Development at Eastern Mennonite University since 1996. She is married to Steve Shenk. They have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandsons.
Barbara Moyer Lehman, associate pastor for nurture and pastoral care
Barbara Moyer Lehman is associate pastor of nurture and pastoral care, joining the staff in 2001 after serving 13 and 1/2 years as co-pastor with her husband, John, at the Orrville Mennonite Church in Orrville, Ohio. She holds a Master of Divinity from Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary, Elkhart, Indiana. John is a chaplain at Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community. The Lehmans have one son, a daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.
