While there is still some demolition work to be done, there is already progress being made on several construction fronts. The new dishwasher drain system has been put into the kitchen floor, to eliminate water leaks into the basement. The new family restroom is framed out in the foyer, the new kitchen downstairs in the Fireplace Room is also getting framed out, along with relocated storage for Mennonite Women. New ductwork (manufactured locally at Excel Steel) has been delivered and is sitting in various place ready for installation. Keep the many workers in your prayers as they continue their labors!
Construction workers have been on-site for three days now, and things are looking very different in and around the building. Pews are out of the sanctuary, organ pipes are wrapped, carpeting in the foyer and fellowship hall is gone, and heating and air ducts are beginning to exit the building. The report is that things are going smoothly so far, and the workers are getting along well. Keep them in your prayers! And as a reminder of what this is all about, click here. |
