College-Age Adults at Park View Mennonite Church

We love having college students and other young adults worship with us at Park View. As young adults you may want to spread your wings and try new things - church included. But don't neglect church as a a place to draw spiritual strength when life is shifting and the future is unclear.
Here's what's happening at Park View that we think you'd like to know about...
Sunday school - in addition to a class specifically for college-age young adults, we have a variety of other classes that meet, classes with varying ages of persons involved and with varying topics. All welcome young adult involvement, whether for a Sunday or on an ongoing basis.
Monthly Taizé worship services - every first Wednesday, 8:30-9:30 p.m. (September-May). These late-evening worship services focus on prayer - sung, spoken, and silent scripture readings, and candlelight prayer around a cross. It's a great way to close out a grueling day of studying. Fellowship meals happen throughout the year, some especially for college students and other for the whole congregation - some at Sunday noon and some on Wednesday evening. Check the church calendar for the next shared meal. |
An adult choir practices weekly, usually at 4 p.m. Sunday afternoons, and presents their music during our Sunday morning services.
Small groups meet weekly in members' homes and are available for interested students. An email list is maintained to get out the word about special events, like fellowship meals, special services, and other service opportunities. To be added to our student email list, send a message to office@pvmchurch.org. MAKE BUTTON LINK HERE Of course, for up-to-date information you can always follow us on Facebook and Twitter. |
